Trust:
Something You Can Bank On
By: Steve Van Pelt, Full Capacity DJs
The most fundamental aspect for hiring a DJ is trust. Whether
it is a wedding reception, an anniversary party, school event,
or a family birthday party, simply hiring a DJ does not guarantee
entertainment. When you hire a DJ you trust that they will do
the following:
1. Show Up
2. Have the actual DJ you hired show up
3. Have professional equipment, including back up equipment
4. Have an entertaining personality
5. Have the music you want
6. Have the ability to create the event you dreamed of
7. Have the experience and savvy to guide your event
When a DJ is present, we all know they "make" or "break"
the event. As you will find by reading through this site, Full
Capacity DJs is a DJ service you can trust to "make"
your event be the party you envisioned. We carefully prepare for
each individual job and no two parties are alike. We don't always
play the same music at each event so you can be assured your atmosphere
will be customized.
I first broke into this business back in 1992 working with other
DJ companies. Frustrated with the way the businesses were run
and the faulty equipment, I decided the only way to provide excellence
was to build my own company. Since the move to begin Full Capacity
DJs in 1995 I have kept true to his promise to not expand beyond
my immediate control and to always provide a secure, professional
and highly entertaining DJ service. Instead of hiring other DJs
to outsource excess gigs to and hoping they do well, I brought
disc jockey and emcee Tim Williams on board as an additional premium
disc jockey. Working together we provide elite service and security.
While this cuts into profits by not working two gigs on the same
night, we can always confidently provide service to our customers,
and we never take on more work then we can handle.
Hiring a DJ based solely on price is a big gamble, after all
it all boils down to trust. Can you trust them? If you hired a
DJ through a "large" company that brokers DJs, do you
really know who you are getting? Can you trust them? Maybe....maybe
not. Sometimes you might get a good DJ, sometimes you won't. Some
events are not worth the risk, plus these brokers are more expensive,
because they need to take a large cut of the fee. Please call
us today and let us demonstrate how our business is the most trusted
in Central New York.

Finding
the Right DJ for Your Event
By: Tim Williams, Full Capacity DJs
Most DJ services advertise that they perform at many types of
functions (weddings, mitzvahs, school dances, etc.), but does
that mean they have performed well at those functions? Full Capacity
DJs would be willing to bet that those companies were successful
at some and failed at others. Many DJ companies tend to gear their
services toward one type of occasion. Wedding specialists, or
new music specialists, etc. However, this “specialization”
provides for service that some would describe as “adequate.”
Is “adequate” really what you are looking for, and
most importantly, is it what you are paying for? It takes a talented
disc jockey to perform at a wedding on the new couples “big
day.” But it takes more than just having the resources to
pull it off to truly make it the most special day they deserve.
Full Capacity DJs prides ourselves in supplying top notch entertainment,
professionalism, and comfort in knowing that your event will not
only be completed perfectly according to your planning, but going
beyond your expectations from what you have seen with other DJs.
No matter what the venue, audience or occasion, Full Capacity
DJs is the company that goes that extra mile to ensure you and
your guests have an evening to remember.
Does Full Capacity DJs have what your function needs?
1. When booking a wedding DJ, couples normally look for professionalism,
class and charisma. Full Capacity DJs provides this.
2. When booking a DJ for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, families typically
look for that same level of class and distinction, but in conjunction
with an ability to capture and maintain the children’s and
adult’s attention and interest. Full Capacity DJs can do
this for you.
3. When booking a DJ for an office party or reunion, corporations
and organizing committees look for, once again, that same level
of class but mixed in with the ability to entertain and make for
a relaxed and fun environment where people let their guard down
and have a good time. Full Capacity DJs once again provides this
atmosphere.
Full Capacity DJs does better then “specialize” in
a certain kind of event. We specialize in entertaining people.
No matter the function, age group or musical taste. This results
in better wedding receptions, because you don’t get a canned
wedding DJ, better Mitzvahs because of our spontaneity, and better
parties because of our ability to work a crowd. We want to have
fun just as much as you do, and we are constantly searching out
the best ways to achieve this. You won’t get a “stale”
performance from us. If these qualities are what you are looking
for, you have found the right DJ for you. Please call us as early
as possible to secure your date with us.
